DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?

No. I do not currently accept insurance. You will be responsible for the full payment of therapy fees at the time of the appointment. However, many health insurance plans include out-of network benefits which can be used towards psychotherapy.

If you intend to seek reimbursement from your insurance company, I will provide you with a superbill, which you can submit to your provider for reimbursement. If you intend to receive insurance reimbursement, it is recommended that you call your insurance provider to inquire about out-of-network benefits before booking an appointment.

HOW LONG WILL I BE IN THERAPY?

People enter therapy at different starting points, have different goals and different challenges to overcome. The duration of treatment is ultimately dependent on the scale of the goals you wish to accomplish and the severity of the issues you’re experiencing.

If timing or costs are a concern, we can create a plan to work within a budgeted timeframe. As a general guideline, clients often begin with weekly sessions for 2-3 months, then decrease to every other week or monthly check-in appointments.

DO YOU HAVE A SLIDING SCALE?

Yes! I do offer a sliding scale. If finances are a concern, we may be able to find an arrangement you're comfortable with. I also offer discounted rates for college students.

HOW DO I KNOW IF I NEED THERAPY?

I truly believe therapy should be a part of everyone's self-care routine. Therapy is a great option for anyone who's interested in self-improvement. Therapy can be used to work towards a variety of goals, both personal and professional. People usually decide to start therapy when they've come to a point where they feel stuck and need a little outside guidance.
